The 7th So French So Food French Gastronomy Week

The 7th So French So Food French Gastronomy Week is the initiation of the French Embassy and the French Cultural Center.

It featured 17 French chefs led by Guillaume Gomez, Chef of the Palais de l'Elysée, and Shalom Kadosh, Chef of the Cow on the Roof restaurant, who collaborated with Israel's finest gourmet restaurants in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Nazareth and Tiberias.

Among the chefs who visited Haifa were Simon Horwitz (Elmer, 2 Gault-Millau toques), hosted by Sasson's Ram Lasry, and Fabrice Le Bourdat (Blé Sucré)—whose madeleines were hailed by Le Figaro as #1 in Paris—hosted by fellow confectioner Miki Shemo. Ecuadorian chef Miguel Xavier Monar visited Lux to work with its chef, Alaa Musa; the two created a fusion dinner with Latin ingredients.
